what can we say? team doesn't quit. they've been terrific on the road and slaf is emerging as a power forward who will go to the dirty areas for goals.
Crazy to think but habs goaltending and D is much , much better than an alleged contender like the leafs.

Last season we saw Dach really take off and this season it's Slaf really taking off around the same point into this season. If these 2 guys can keep on improving and can find some chemistry together that would be a nightmare duo for opposing dmen.

For the members here who watched Struble play in the NCAA and the AHL did you see him making this type of impact in the NHL? Hard to find anything that's really a negative with his game since he's been called up.

I watched his AHL games and immediately noticed that he was clearly the best player on the entire Laval roster but didn't expect this type of rise in the NHL this quickly

Struble has earned his spot on the 3rd pairing LHD. Don't know what Hughes will do with such a surplus of young LHD talent.

honestly it is only Chicago but we are building good habit, young player are showing progress and trade chip playing well are increase there value. We are still not making the playoff but next year with everyone progressing and adding Dach we should be in the mix.

That was like our 5 regulation win worst in the league all these OT point we go from top 5 pick to top 15 hope we get lucky because at first glance I don’t think this years draft isn’t very deep…

Saw Struble play prep / high school & Northeastern, always stood out for being an elite skater with lots of “truculence”.

Not shocked that Struble’s made an impact, but surprised the rate of improvement keeps climbing.

I expect next year Luke Tuch will establish himself within the org as well

If/When Huston and Reinbacher are in the top 4, I would love to see a shutdown 3rd pair of Xhekaj - Struble

There's no reason why Struble AND Xhekaj can't be on that team, and pigeonholing Struble on the 3rd pair on the longer term may be a bit pessimistic.

I'm loving the play this road trip, points in 4 straight games and the team is exciting to watch, we are getting more offensive zone time, the schedule has been kind to us but let's hope it continues
