I know Suzuki was probably tired but I would have liked to see him play for Canada. He’s on the fringe of Team Canada Olympic team imo so it doesn’t hurt to play internationally.

Yeah loving to win is great but hating to lose is what you want. He strikes me as that.

I have a feeling he’s going to be my favourite Hab that I ever watched sooner than later.

Dalibor Dvorsky is better player and he didnt get the invite too. Both played "only" junior hockey this season, i guess thats the reason.

That's what I would like to hear about as well.

Wow on that goal by Slaf. Really starting to mature and show his top end potential. At this stage, I feel comfortable saying we have a top line power forward winger who has it all. Skating, size, good hands, good vision, plays aggressive, good shot.

Yeah, it's looking more real than saying it pre draft now. Still a ways to go yet but man... his D+2 is impressive in terms of how much momentum/confidence he has.

Hard to nit pick a flaw other than maturity/confidence. Kid is obsessive at improving and putting the time in too.

i thought he mostly was invisible.

Two reasons:

- Tournament is right near the Slovak Border

- Its the last tournament coached by Craig Ramsay.

That means they wanted to build the best and most experienced team possible.

Personally I think it was a mistake not to take at least one of Mesar, Dvorsky

Both of them could learn things from Ramsay and other veteran players. For Mesar it could have been a career changing tournament.
