alright then. I thought he was a winger because he plays wing for the Flames. Not sure what position he played in the AHL. My bad.Pospisil wants to play as a center. He´s quite vocal about it. You can read it in the Slovak sport websites.
I dream of the day a GM think Armia Lemiou is the deal of the century, a diamond hidden in a pile of turds, just need to be cleaned and polished.Joel Armia. When he dons the Finnish blue he turns into Mario L'Armia.
Maybe Primeau got invited ans declined? Who knows.Primeau > Lyon
Team USA wake up
Maybe Lane doesn't want to go. It's probably better for him to focus on the next NHL season instead of going to the WC. Those teams are stacked, Lane Hutson would probably be like the 6-7th d.If team USA has room for Petry they have room for Lane Hutson.
So I guess that tells us that Guhle has recovered from the concussion or whatever his UBI injury was late in the season.Good to see Guhle accepted. Defense & goaltending looks OK. Forwards, well, I'm happy Celebrini is going. Lol
For those who haven't seen the high-lights of Canada's 5-1 exhibition win against Austria, here is a link:Good to see Guhle accepted. Defense & goaltending looks OK. Forwards, well, I'm happy Celebrini is going. Lol
Really!? With Bedard, Fantilli, Guenther, Mercer, Cozens, McCann and Celebrini that's not a bad group.Good to see Guhle accepted. Defense & goaltending looks OK. Forwards, well, I'm happy Celebrini is going. Lol

They may be young in age, but all of them have been playing hockey at a high level for years: NHL, CHL, Team Canada, etc. These 'kids' have developed in the pressure cooker that is high level sport competition. It's the big ice, where skating is at a premium. Hockey Canada is finally learning and have assembled a largely mobile team. We may not win, but it doesn't appear that we will be caught slow. Not bad, but it's extremely young outside of McCann.
Interesting, I wonder if that's a decision by Finnish hockey to focus on getting the next gen some experience or if the vets just largely declinedArmia isn't playing for Finland this year. In fact, there aren't too many NHL players going for the Fins.
Oliver Kapanen has officially made the team.
2024 draft eligible Konsta Helenius is also on it.
