I hope Suzuki goes if he's healthy. It's not like the NHL playoffs but still good experience for him to play with a different team in a tournament.
Wild suggestion for Slovakia, but: Try Slaf as center. He has it in him.We have no good centres to play with him which sucks. Maybe Pospisil from Calgary will play C.
According to TSN690 from earlier today Monty was asked to go but apparently declined but I haven't seen or heard it from anywhere else so we'll see.
They played him as 1C against Sweden when he had just turned 17 at the WC back in 2021. So it’s possibleWild suggestion for Slovakia, but: Try Slaf as center. He has it in him.

I would of declined rudely!
All good
He went AND won last year
Don't have to go everytime lol
He went and won last year. Binnington has accepted, so Montembeault would likely just be back-up. It's fine that he said, no.
Crosby has already confirmed his presence ?Crosby going at 36 with nothing to prove says a lot about his passion for hockey

Kapanen listed to play in a warm up game for Team Finland vs Team Sweden. Just about to start, he's listed on the 4th line on twitter but on the boxscore I pulled up it has him on the 1st line center.
Most likely, he´ll play with Tatar and Pospisil in the first line.Confirmed that Slafkovsky is playing for Slovakia!
three wingers? UnlikelyMost likely, he´ll play with Tatar and Pospisil in the first line.
Didn't Slaf play center the last couple of times with the national team?three wingers? Unlikely

Feeling that if Crosby had confirmed his presence early, players would be lining up to make the team.Crosby going at 36 with nothing to prove says a lot about his passion for hockey
