I'd like to see us run the 1st team at least once more but I've enjoyed watching the kids

I think the leafs should be fine, but I think this season we will see some risers and some fallers in the standings. It could be a very surprising season for a lot of fans leafue wide. The main concern with Toronto is the defence.

I'm sure Coach Keefe has neutered Reaves like he did with Simmonds and Clifford. Why make changes when the same ole has worked so well... /sarcasm. Keefe has a bunch of shiny new toys but lets go with the same guys in OT that haven't been able to figure it out for the last 5 years.

He should have had 100 points in the 97 point season two years ago but did the right thing and sat the last few games of the season.

If all goes well he’ll crack that milestone this year and help us with some playoff victories. I still think the key to success in the playoffs is splitting Matthews and Marner. Marner and JT work well.

Haha the NFL loves the swift/Kelce coverage. They just reached out to a whole new demographic. My girlfriend who could give two shits about football, hates that I play fantasy football now wants to tune in every Sunday to watch with me. Win-Win I guess haha.

The top 3 lines are going to be a force, very difficult for teams to match up against (assuming Willie stays at C).

The defense though still needs some work. Kyper was right, still not nearly enough toughness back there. Shame Schenn wouldn't re-sign because guys like that are hard to come by, and this team needs his physicality badly.

It looked a bit like a tire fire in our own end but the habs were also just cycling the puck around the perimeter and not getting a ton of good looks. Samsonov should have had 2 of those. OT was expected because they're the Leafs and they've gotta Leaf.

Really want to see Klingberg on that powerplay again... Reilly frustrates me to no end quarterbacking it as always.

He was someone I really missed tonight. With a near full roster it would've been nice to see our new powerplay quarterback there as well. Maybe we get another goal or two out of our 5 powerplays and this game doesn't even get to OT. Whatever, pre-season and all that.
