Fowler is a #2 dman, Rakell is a top six forward. Those are not spare parts.

There spare parts compared to Patches.
Go and try to get another top 5 Winger in the game for those parts that you are offering. Not happening.

Not interested. If we're giving up two great young players then I'd want two back in return.

Galchenyuk and Gallagher for Rakell and Fowler.

You don't have the parts/players to get Galchenyuk and Gallagher in a deal.

You would have to start with Lindholm and Perry .

why but why........ would you want to trade a 35 to 40 goal scorer ? Not like Montreal has 3 or 4 of these....

he is replaceable. rakall will replace 25 of the 35 . radulov and gallagher will top 30. theres also galchenyuk and a full year of carr. rakalls skill and creativity will impress. i have to admit i need to find a new home for markov or emelin with the plan. being able to keep beaulieu would be a bonus

fowler - weber
emelin - petry
beaulieu - patyrn/redmond
barbeirio - patyrn/redmond

or

fowler / weber
markov / petry
beaulieu / patyrn/redmond
barbeirio / patyrn/redmond

beaulieu will move up with first injury

gallagher - galchenyuk - rakall
shaw - plekanec - radulov
carr - danault - mccarron
delarose - mitchell - byron
mitchell - andrighetto

someone find a home for desharnais to please.

ducks cannot afford to trade rakell he is a young top 6 forward, if they trade fowler it has to be a 1 for 1 type deal for a scoring forward.

also ducks do not need defense back, every trade always seems to include one to seemingly balance out the value.....not happening, theodore and montour are going to be victims of a numbers game most likely to start the season and there is no way someone should be coming in to block them or be behind the depth chart after them

Lol didnt see it and probably because because it could work cap wise and could make sense from both side!

Montreals upgrades their puck moving D, downgrades a little their offense but gets younger, and i feel like montreal needs a playmaker and little fancy creative player more than a scoring power foward like pacioretty with galchenyuk turning into a solid sniper and with the addition of radulov!,

Ducks downgrades their defense a bit but still a young with high upside whos cheap and rfa, and get a solid prime scorer who could realy do damage on the ducks powerplay and still signed for mad cheap 3 years.

I don't think there's a team in the league that would trade away a goal scorer of Pacioretty's caliber for a play maker, when there's no clear replacement for Max in the offing. There are a number of potential play makers in the system however.

I'd much rather stick with what Montreal has. Give the club the year with existing players and the addition of Radulov. Give Beaulieu a chance to step up to the next level.

That's what will happen.

Radulov will be a quality addition and Beaulieu has to get his chance and he will. You never know how a young talented player will react playing with a steady all-star player like Weber. Beaulieu certainly has the potential do to a good job as a #2D.

We will see by december if D situation is problematic for the Habs. If Beaulieu doesn't live up to the challenge, and i'm sure Markov and Emelin are not solutions for top pair, i think Bergevin will pull the trigger on a trade for a quality D. No way he can afford a second catastrophic year in a row.

i must say i am content on continuing forward with pacioretty and beaulieu as well. we would have to much tied up on defense. looking forward to the markov and emelin contracts expiring though. like you said it gives us time to see what the kids and beaulieu can do. i would dearly love to get our hands on rakall though where theres internal cap problems in anaheim.
