Where does bealieu fit on the Ducks?

Ducks have lindholm, Theodore, depres, and Larsson as LHD

i asked this before in another thread and couldnt get an answer. what would be a suitable relacement for beaulieu ? pacioretty plus what for fowler and rakall

Weber is thee type of dmen, that fowler would completely excel with... as underrated as fowler gets on these boards hed be amazing in that pairing.

Rakell still has lots of potential offensively, very skilled and creative player... another pretty underrated player. I think hell become a 60 point guy, while still playing a strong 2way game, can literally play top line wing, 2nd line wing... and also has a lot of exp @ center if the teeam needs that.


As for the trade, yea... no I wouldn't trade rakell and fowler for pac.

I would do something around Fowler for Pac but the add isn't rakell.

I don't think guys have the piece to get rakell as an add. Better off adding to fowler for patches, and taking rakell out of the deal.

then you would have to add though. we need to replace some of the goals as well. wouldnt one of carr, andrighetto, lekonen, delarose, reway make it closer. they would be cheap for you.

I'd do Pacioretty for Fowler+Rakell in a heart beat.
Solves our D issue, plus adds a good young player with lots of upside.

Well that was kinda my point... you guys would need to replace pac offense some how.

For us were trying to unload a dmen or 2 for offensive help, trading rakell still creates a hole in our offense even tho we are upgrading him to patches... I think our goal is to keep rakell and find another top 6 winger for the price of around Fowler.

Well Yea Toronto and Detroit make the most sense for trade partners. Pretty sure a Habs fan made this thread patches fits our needs but our team needs vs your teams needS and values don't really match up

I'd love to see Fowler paired with Weber. I think they would compliment each other in style and ability, but the Ducks need forwards and the only ones we have available are unproven kids.
Personally, I'd do Pacioretty for Fowler+Rakell, because I don't see this team as a contender as long as we have that dinosaur behind the bench and that dumpster diver as a GM, but that's not to say ANA would and I'm not the Habs GM.

Yea I think rakell has a lot more potential that kinda kills the deal from our perspective.


Fowler looked his best next to beauchmin and I feel like weber is a much better version of beauchmin... both are mean in their own end, and big strong guys plus weber has a crazy shot and having him as a partner would completely free up Fowler. I think weber is perfect partner for Fowler

i do have problems seeing the merit of therien . wouldnt miss him . i absolutely believe bergevin is way underrated. i dont care what anybody tells me, subban was a distraction in that dressing room and had far to many clashes with teammates over the years. i believe youll find nine if you google it. bergevin proved he had a massive set of rocks to trade him. hes got 3 extra second round picks in the next two years. with desharnais emelin and markovs contracts finishing up hes clearly got a handle on the cap. and he will be going for it again on deadline day without forgetting the future.

dont give up that easy now. your increasing your scoring up front right of the get go and doing it by using your position of strength. im sure we can find the difference between fowler and rakall for pacioretty. right away andrighetto gets you 15 easy and it will be cheap as well. a little tweaking here and we can get a hold of murray and bergevin tonite.

Too much from MTL,

Rakell + Fowler for Max was, for the most part, agreed upon as fair value.

I doubt ducks fans agreed to this. The difference between Fowler and Pax isnt a quality talent like rakell

The chances of him going there are very slim. They are not a very rich team. Nor is playing there really intriguing for a Swede, not like he's going home. And even if he did go there, him being there while the Ducks keep his NHL rights is more good for us than some lowball offers or some 2nd round pick.
