NJ, NYR, DAL have okay prospects. Unless they are giving Van their top prized prospect. I am suspecting a bundle of maybe's.Everyone is in the mix!
Expectations: Top 4 dman, blue chip prospect + pick
Reality: cap dump and a b level prospect
ill believe when it see it. Every miller trade always falls throughIt'll happen tomorrow for sure.
Banana in the tail pipe
Or we could have traded EP40 for Neccas, Kotkaniemi and Morrow. Easy to play this game with the clarity of 20/20 hindsight. It's really irritating that this all should have been done ahead of the 2023 draft and was clearly foreseeable at that time.
We should have had 3 or 4 top ~20 picks in the 2023 draft and we'd probably be in as good or better of a position with the active roster.
Can't wait to see the bidding wars for Derek Forbort and Vinny Desharsuck.A bidding war for a disgruntled J.T. Miller is about the best case scenario.
How gruntled are they? Can't wait to see the bidding wars for Derek Forbort and Vinny Desharsuck.
Sucks. Like why did it have to come to this. He’s a fan favorite and a hell of a player.I just know the return is going to suck. I’ve been trying to wrap my brain around this whole thing but I’m still in shock that it has come to this and that he’s likely to be traded in the upcoming days.
I bet nothing happens. I’m a wet blanket.Certainly trending that way.

Probably Drury because he seems like an absolute donkey.New York doesn’t really excite me as a trade partner like New Jersey does.
Also, wonder who the Canucks A) thought was tampering with their players, and B) which players they thought were being tampered with.
He’s mean to our 11.6M dollar diva.Sucks. Like why did it have to come to this. He’s a fan favorite and a hell of a player.
Wondering if all the activity around Miller finally convinced Drury to cave on Schneider…i like him, but not enough to be a centerpiece for Miller though.New York doesn’t really excite me as a trade partner like New Jersey does.

You're making a trade for tomorrow, not yesterday. It's a big risk trading JT, but it's also a big risk keeping JT. That's the reality of the situation. We're at a cross-roads either way. Look at Zibanejad, same age, same contract as JT, basically. And like JT, he's been a massive point scorer over the last few seasons. He's only 30 odd behind JT's tally. And I don't think anyone wants to touch Zibanejad's contract because it's clear his career decline has started.Heres the last 6 seasons. Miller is a top 10 player in this league. We aren't going to get that value back in a trade. I really don't wanna trade him. We lose that trade 100% of the time.
