He’ll hear one thing from someone he trusts and repeats it. The person might think it’s true but the info is distorted or it’s third hand info. There’s no subsequent verification on his part.

i don't believe he follows any journalistic practices and i believe he does players favours in terms of floating stories. in this instance, i started out thinking spitting chiclets was team miller but now i think team drury. drury can comp them wicked seats.

Rangers won’t do it because, and this has been my long held criticism of every team, they want something for nothing.
