Expectations:
-the market is overreacting but expectations have changed

Pettersson:
-talked to a Western Conference executive to get an out-of-market opinion; was told he's a top end elite talent but is not shooting and wants to see more compete & effort; doesn't see energy and passion; doesn't want the puck and players like that should want the puck; something seems off
-people outside of Vancouver are saying the same things as the media in Vancouver
-the executive believes teams would be interested in acquiring Pettersson; lists teams like Buffalo, Chicago, and Utah
-wouldn't surprise Dhaliwal if teams call the Canucks to touch base on Pettersson
-his agents aren't nearly as concerned as the market is
-Canucks seem just as baffled as everyone else about his drop in production
-Tocchet is not going to rip Pettersson in public; knows this market
-Tocchet has given subtle hints about what is wrong with Pettersson; needs to work harder in practice, move his feet more, etc.

Defenceman Trade Options:
-obviously at some point will have to add a defencemen via trade
-tough market right now and pretty quiet
-injuries can change the market quick
-Blue Jackets have said they are not moving Provorov yet and Flames have said the same with Andersson
Klimovich:
-was not a Colliton favourite; didn't have his trust
-his agent, Milstein, never formally asked for a trade but was frustrated
-Canucks have articulated a clear plan for this season
-organization doesn't want to give up on him
-should have never sent him to Abbotsford in his draft year; should have gone to junior
Willander:
-Canucks are very very happy with his start to the season
-getting a little bit more opportunity to show his offense
