It is a good thing we have VAR here because the refs have messed up in this tournament constantly. If there was no VAR people would be complaining about the refs more than ever, and completely justified. They should never have to overturn this many goals/non-goals.

It was in fact very close, but the last replay showed his momentum continued *just* enough. It was borderline, though. Having very much copied the Litmanen style in our pick up games over 25 years ago, I'd like to know what full stopping is like.

Full stopping is what Lewa did. Multiple times in multiple pens just in this game.

Griezmann really too slow to get to that ball, prime year version of him would have got a touch there. Mbappe staying until the end, seems to be slightly touching his nose/protector, maybe some opponent touched it.
