On Tuesday the Sens will be possibly playing a tired Oiler team -
Oilers play today and Monday.

That's what Gord Wilson is saying.
Let's just deal with Carolina first. Lol.

Honestly feeling pretty optimistic rn given the teams overall play during this last stretch. Hands down the most dominant play I've seen from this group.

Otherwise on a personal note, I'm going to choose to believe this team can succeed this year vs expecting them to lose. Will they falter sometimes? Sure. But if they're going to wake up every game day believing their structured play will win them more games then they lose, then I'm bought in too.
When you said Otherwise on a personal note...I was expecting " I ate a block of cheese....right out of the wrapper, like a chocolate bar. Now I'm having poop problems."

If we play Ullmark and he does poorly, I'm thinking we run with Forsberg until Ullmark shows he's got his head right.

But I bet it's Forsy tonight.

The fan in me wants to believe we'll see a game like vs Vegas or the Rangers but with better outcomes. The person who's experienced what Senators Hockey™ has been lately suspects it's gonna be another 50-55 minute effort with 5-10 of awful breakdowns ultimately leading to a loss.

... This would be an accurate outcome if I did...

Hey @2CHAINZ is there a way to bet on the outcome of the deserve to win meter? Because I think we are going to lose that.

I have no idea who is winning the actual game, but I'm pretty confident in predicting the winner of the meter.

We suck against Carolina, but if Kochetkov isn't playing, then they are missing their top 2 goalies, we really need to grab a W here.

Would be nice to see us up in the standings after a win tonight. I’ll cheer from my living room.

Currently on a via rail train and I swear to god, 10 minutes into the trip, someone let one rip that smelled like they'd just eaten a block of cheese to themselves.

f***ing maniac, whoever did that

It was definitely from an asshole. Literally hahahahaha.

I say counter-attack and bask in the ambience.

They might have tried 2 rounds for a couple years. Those where the years when Winnipeg had an amazing team....but had to go through Edmonton and Calgary to get out of the division.

Nope. In 1975-1979 the NHL expanded its playoffs to include 12 teams and introduced best-of-three series for the preliminary round.

However, starting in 1980, the preliminary round became a best-of-five format. The first round of the playoffs (then called the Division Semi-Finals) was a best-of-five series. This allowed for a quicker elimination round before moving to the longer best-of-seven series in subsequent rounds.

In 1987 the NHL shifted all playoff series to a best-of-seven format, which has been the standard ever since.
