well, nothing surprising here. I stand by what I have said before - this team wont be stealing points from (or probably wont even have close games against) top teams.
funny thing is that in this 1st period we actually look better than against Norway in 1st.

For that we would need Ahos,Tevainanens and Grandlunds of our own. We arent even close.

He looks so fast. A big improvement from his rookie NHL year.
He has been always fast. He is by some amount faster this season, but he has been always fast and a great skater. For some reason some people just haven’t realized it before. One thing is of course that he is still a very cerebral player whom doesn’t constantly use his top speed when he plays, as it’s not always the smartest thing to do. But I think he has learned to play even quicker with his ”computer” too, which makes him have more often his full speed in use than he had a year or two ago.

Maybe gradually even other Finns will start seeing what I have said for already more than two years - Aho and Laine are the best young Finnish players and with potential in their own class, and in the future they will be even further ahead of the others. They are just amazing talents with unbelievable potential. I see Barkov and Rantanen at the same level or at least close to them at the moment, but Aho and Laine will get a gap on them in a couple of years. They both are just so damn talented.

true, but we usually manage to surprise even some star filled teams.
Looking at roster we have, apart from few, I'm seeing that many of our guys didn't had the seasons that you should expect from them, so I can't see upsets.

Stupid penalties has been our weakness so far.

If they continue like this the big teams will kill us on special teams.

This time there was blood. Last time wasnt.
Seriously? Maybe they focused onto the wrong player but the stick hit his helmet and the visor didn't really hit his face that much.
Didn't expect anything more than a classic 2 mins.

Good tactical fight from who ever did / started that "restaurant fight". Our PK guys got some rest and also momentum needed turning.

Just because you keep saying it over and over again, doesn't make it true. Barkov is better than both of them now, and probably always will.
