As KalPa fan, great to see how Kapanen has worked with Riikola. Sad to see him Leave to Lukko. I have feeling KalPa produces alot of talent these days, almost every player takes huge steps. Kapanen is absolutely fantastic coach, not just team coach, wants to develop all players also, actively, not leaving it to staff or some one else.

I feel bad for him. I still never understood why he never got NHL game time after that amazing game against Canada. His confidence has gotten worse over the years

Its pretty simple. He has no consistency. Hes pretty bad even for an AHL goalie. I would say he is our 4th string goalie.

Well we put him in the box because we wanted to rest our main goalie. Doesnt look like coaching staff had any hopes foe this game to begin with.

well, nothing surprising here. I stand by what I have said before - this team wont be stealing points from (or probably wont even have close games against) top teams.
funny thing is that in this 1st period we actually look better than against Norway in 1st.

Yeah, granny works so much better as a winger. Not saying he is a bad center, just better at wing.
