Okay my prediction of this game not becoming a blowout is out of the window. I bet Savinainen didn't expect these two magicians to make him a 2ppg player.

Savinainen brings just the right amount of grit and net-presence to Aho-TT. Fits like a glove

That Aho laine is magical. Brings Pula-Aho line to my mind... is it that Aho is really the driving force and brains that can make lines on fire like that? Of course other players in those lines, Laine, Teräväinen, Savinainen, Pulju were all strong players but feels like its Aho that adds that extra thing, its just magical.

As good as Teräväinen is, if there was Laine in this line it would be hockey porn. But well its good as it is.

l´Aho and the co, boys, s’il vous plait. -Late too the game. Aho already 2+1? The kid should let Granny score for a change or #64 will go bananas, get this growing ape on his shoulders which will eat his captainship step by step alive like he were a bunch of ripe bananas hanging from a rotten tree until it is empty and void, filled only with maggots of doubt the hideous inner woodpecker consumes with a grim grin on its face while keeping nagging the confidence of the poor fellow of the ring.

He hasnt been just a rider. He made the play to Aho`s 1 goal and has made some space to our super-duo.

Granlund and Rantanen being constantly sloppy with the puck for already a second game in a row. Could they still be getting used to the time difference, or should we start getting worried about them? Neither of them looking good really. Rantanen at least somehow ok occasionally, but Granlund has been especially disappointing so far.

This I can easily agree with. Granlund almost feels like is uninterested in playing right now. Slow, sloppy, I don't want to say it, but I'll say it anyway: lazy.

positive takeaway from this game is that Cibuļskis will think twice before making that cross-ice pass again. Negative - someone else will still make that pass

Agreed. This is what perhaps has surprised me the most. Though it's easy to get carried away. There's still the true tests ahead.

Aho’s PPG in the tournament so far 4,0, and still one period to go. That’s really a start to the tournament! Probably one of the most efficient first two games by one player in the WHC? Lazy to check at least right now from Google, but does anyone know what is the biggest point total for a player in the first two games at the WHC tournaments?

Yea, Granny looks like he doesn't even want to be there. Too bad.
I don't think that's the case. All 3 of these guys (Kapanen, Rantanen and Granlund) were in the playoffs, so they're probably a bit more tired and bruised than Aho & TT. Granlund has always played with intensity and heart whenever he's on the national team. Rantanen was one of the few good things about Team Finland last year...
