Well, that was exciting. I missed two period because I thought they played 20.15, but it was fun enough to watch the 3rd. From what I've seen, Eriksson has to be scratched instead of Bratt and the #1 position in net is open for Markström to take. Lundqvist has been solid, but he hasn't been stellar.

To be fair, they have gone our way only once - in 2009, when we managed to win both Swedes and Swiss in close games. This goes in history just as yet another 'pretty loss'.

Really sad for Latvia, I know Baltic will take it as trolling, but you know, it’s quite easy to see why some Latvian players decline or have “injuries” every year when they are so close top in 11 out of 15 matches against big guns just to be unlucky 10 times.

Good effort overall though, Hartley is no doubt good coach.
