Mol liga has a good reputation in the region for paying it's players the promised salaries, which sounds like it shouldn't be a problem but often is. Their imports though...usually average CIS grads to below average ECHL players.

Well, the best were good in the ECHL too (see Jon Booras), but yeah, the MOL league is below the ECHL so average ECHL players can dominate here.

That's still mostly on potential, like World Cup this is transition time still, best players being 17-21y.

The young lions are coming together. They'll likely get beaten at the World Cup but 2018 and 2022 Olympics look very promising if they let the NHL guys go.

Letting the perfect become the enemy of the good. Too much useless passing, too little trusting the accuracy of their shots.

Finnish PP just killed the penalty for Hungary. Took whole 2mins with the same Hungarian squad to do absolutely nothing worth of saying. Couple desperate shots from blueline and Pulkkinen hitting the logo.

That happens often if a goalie gets under their skin. It's perfectly normal (though not necessarily efficient) that they want the perfect chance since they couldn't score on the good ones.

Didn't watch the warm up games but i wonder why pulkkinen is in this team. He looks worse than as 19 old in wjc.

KJ must be pissed that the inferior Barky-PP scored instead of the superior Captain-PP. Thats how they should do it.

E: bring in the sad #1 PP again!

Jussi Jokinen with couple of good plays on that PP.

Oh he was on right wall on that. But nooooo we can't swap him to RW and let Laine play LW. :shakehead

So glad to see Barkov scoring. Easily my favorite Finn and soon to be my favorite player period.
