I did mention Datysuk.. Unless Datsyuk has twin brother with the same skill playing 2nd line.

Greenway is a big boy. During the world juniors I swear he'd win all the battles along the boards. There's no knocking him off the puck. This game is going how I expected. russia has some world class talent in their lineup. It's surprising that they've lost a game in this tournament. Wouldn't be shocked to see them win it all. The US has had some good chances and I hope they can at least net one in the 3rd.

It's a weird format but actually every team qualifies for the playoff round. Top team and best 2nd place team get byes to the quarterfinals. Everyone else is seeded and plays a qualification round

If I were the coach for USA I'd send them back out there with one message. HURT THEM. Punish them every time they touch the puck. Take the penalties if you have to but make it clear they will pay every time they want some offense.

I can get behind this especially with how dirty russia has been after the whistle. Also, the officiating has been a joke. No calls and weak calls for both sides. I'll never complain about NHL refs again....ok, yes I will.

For this level of hockey, those guys are awesome. Russia has Datsyuk, Kovalchuk and that KHL phenom Mozyakin all on different lines. That’s a nightmare to play against considering the roster we have.
To call Russia a 1 line team is beyond ignorant.

I agree. The Russians have a lot of quality shots. The US, not so many. Another backhander for a save.
