The only national team that Finland has played against but never won I believe.

But the biggest nemesis is the Gävle Godtemplares IK club side from Sweden whom Finland has played four times losing each.

I scare already the 5th meeting with that diabolic group. Team's name even sounds just what you would expect from that ideal, platonic model of perfect "Finn-killing" Swedish team.

Thanks about that interesting trivia. :)

I wonder what's the last time a third goalie has opened a game in the Worlds (for Finland). Not really showing high regard for Veini...
It's the return of the "Kaikki Pelaa" philosophy. *Sigh* Soon Liitto will start issuing directives...

Maybe Kaapo should just skip that non-essential NHL development career -phase, apply citizenship to Ireland or Scotland and start re-develop hockey in Great Britain. :sarcasm:

I root for Kaapo and GB in this game. Only totally wrong attitude can make Team Finland succumb to this match.

Kakko goal scoring record clock at WC’s:

He currently has 6 goals in 4 games.
U18 scoring record: Patrik Laine 7 goals (eligible to play at IIHF U18 events)

Modern era U20 scoring record

1. Eric Lindros (D+2) 11 goals
2. Sidney Crosby (D+1) 8 goals

2 swiss guys have 10 goals but they did it 1934-1935.

If he has good day he might score 2 to catch up Crosby.

Any legal streams of the game that works in the US? NHL Network decided to air the Italy game instead...
