the ref did not really do a good job today. no clear line.
- berra got a minor for moving the goal - not bobrovsky
- du bois got a 10 for the crosscheck but the russian guy did not get one for his blindside in the first period
- one swiss step in the goal circle and a whistle but the russian goal counts
It definitely widely inconsistent and we definitely got the shorter end of the stick. But I doubt that it's intentional.

That Shipachev's hit wasn't as bad as the one against Dats though. As to the first goal, yeah, I agree, it shouldn't be counted.

The ref indicated that Berra moved his goal twice. Probably that's why.

both hits are brutal. it was a perfect example of a blindside hit. if he d been hurt he d be out multiple games.

well. fun game. good or bad ref. russia would have won anyway.

My takes:

- **** the refs
- Way too undisciplined
- Result may not mirror the play, but it's a deserved win for Russia, grats
- Berra and the PK were fantastic (surprising)
- Scoring efficiency was not (not so surprising)

Overall: Meh

Say what you want you but Berra cancelled Panarin's clean goal, while Bobrovski just moved the net. No consequence.
Swiss players get one minor penalty for cross checking and slashing Datsyuk in an attempt to injure him, that's bad reffing.

No matter what, it's an easy victory for Russia. The Swiss couldn't do almost anything.

Eh, not really. Bobrovski had to make some very good saves and more than one puck got fumbled alone in front of him.

It was easy tho, for numerous reasons.

IMHO Berra wanted to show the ref that the goal is alread moved.

Grossmann got for that hit on Datsyuk 2+10.

both teams had equivalent shoots!!! lol!!! but the russian had the better chances, sure! but also because the ref was a moron!

Telegin is really on fire out there! He always had the talent, but now he is starting to assert himself and really fly around. Good news for Russia if we can get contributions from the back liners.

i wonder what happened ... all years we had 10's of Russians posters.

Today just some ... are they all in Moscow to watch the game ?

More seriously anyone noticed the absence of Russians on these threads ?

True, the guy has some speed and determination. He's sort of playing the 'role' of Radulov, he has a somewhat similar style, but perhaps less skill. He's not such a hothead though, which is good :).
