I can't believe Jerabek keeps getting chances after chances...

Sweden's 5th goal in the 2013 final, Latvia's last minute goal against Belarus in 2014, his "performance" during Switzerland-Denmark on Tuesday... This guy has no idea about the rules of hockey, time to use other referees.

Russia looking a bit rusty today. The defence isn't that bad, which is reassuring, but somehow the offense isn't clicking. The addition of Ovechkin, Kuznetsov and Orlov might've 'messed' with the line chemistry a bit. The boys need more time to adapt to their new partners. And the powerplay hasn't been impressive.

ovechkin is a really, really awesome and fantastic player but is it a wonder that Russia sometimes have problems performing and have reports of conflict in the lockerroom when you insist of this hero treatment?

This thing about not changing Ovechkin but everybody else on PP seems so stupid and counter productive..

I'm not sure if it'll be a good thing for team Russia, but we'll see. I hope Ovechkin will be playing well of course, but he sometimes underperforms, that's true.

the ref did not really do a good job today. no clear line.
- berra got a minor for moving the goal - not bobrovsky
- du bois got a 10 for the crosscheck but the russian guy did not get one for his blindside in the first period
- one swiss step in the goal circle and a whistle but the russian goal counts
