also 90% of shots are targeted to over, wide or to the post. scoring goal shouldn't be that difficult, just hit it to the pad of the goalie and rush to rebound it in

You know, right now I feel like I don't really even care if they lose the QF. Stayin' alive feels like an accomplishment enough for this squad. Let's see 'em take another crack at it next year.

Wow, a win. With Husso shutout they even scored one bonus goal, one could have been enough.

Our offense might be the worst for a "top" country, ever. This looks just like the hockey our teams played in the WCs a few years ago. Okay defensively, but absolutely terrible offensively. Our breakout is horrible. When a defender gets the puck in our end, he either throws it along the boards and hopes for the best, shoots a hard pass which is deflected to the corner, or passes to a forward standing still. In the offensive end we are forced in to the corners and easily stripped off the puck. Most of our shots come from the blue line. I don't even want to discuss our PP. The sad thing is that I'm writing this after a game against Germany (no offense). Our offense is so neutered that it doesn't really work even against Germany. I don't see any chance for us to beat Sweden.
