In fairness to Virtanen, it was a mixed bag. Bad PIMS and decisions early on. But his shift when he played smart and physical may have been a turning point for Canada.

Virtanen is using stick-to-body alot, cheap punches etc. That's being a goon.

I love clean checks. It's hockey. But it's easy to see the frustration in a team that's being dominated - which easily and often leads to ******** plays. Like Switzerland in the first game.

You won't find many disagreeing on JV, I'd be ok if he sat a few shifts. Playing like a meathead.

Just remains for the coach to shape them up for this type of play and force them off if they can't handle the heat. Sweden's got this in a bag.
