View attachment 380712 Don't think I've ever seen this image before. Number 4 before he became #4 - trying very hard to look tough.

Note that both teams are wearing their "home" uniforms. When the Bruins wore yellow at home, it created problems with black-and-white TV broadcasts when the visitors wore the usual white: not enough contrast. So, here, the Rangers were asked to bring along their blue shirts to Boston.

Before expansion - the first one - this gentleman found himself bouncing between the NHL and the AHL. With the arrival of expansion, he became a first line centre in the NHL.

Here we have a gentleman with a distinctive face and surname. In Pittsburgh he had his own cheering section - some time after this photo was taken.
