Ivan Boldirev. The Montreal Canadiens were not the only team stockpiling first-round draft picks; the Boston Bruins had a few themselves. In 1969, the Bruins had three first-round draft picks: Don Tannahill (3rd), Frank Spring (4th) and Ivan Boldirev (11th). Boldirev would play 1052 games in the NHL, with Boston, the California Golden Seals, the Chicago Black Hawks, the Atlanta Flames, the Vancouver Canucks, and the Detroit Red Wings.

Was part of the Bruins "Black Aces" along with Garnet (Ace) Bailey and Reggie Leach in the early 70's.

Bailey was on one of the planes that crashed into the world trade center on 9/11.

Pat Verbeek. Played 1424 games, scored 522 goals, and had 540 assists, for 1062 points. Add to that 2905 penalty minutes.

Until I saw this photo, I never realized how much Patrik Sundstrom looked like Peter Stastny. Out of their jerseys, their Jersey teammates must have had trouble telling them apart.View attachment 384284
OK, this is weird. This is Peter Stastny, no doubt about it -- the photo/card is mis-labelled. (You can see his name on the back of the jersey.) However, I thought Stastny wore 26, not 29...
