More WOW!!! goes out to RGO's stream of photo's on the proceeding page..... very impressive & rare.... Rather shocking to see Dwyers son sitting there with Red Dutton wearing a Swastika ring.... Really drives home how much Hitler & his Criminal Organization, Cult that was Nazism had fooled so many worldwide for the better part of the 1930's. Members & admirers in almost every country & socio-economic stratosphere.

^^^ Yep. Toronto then in 3rd place & absolutely hammered by the last place Bruins 11-Zip. Shut. Out. Thats Don Simmons in net for the Leafs, #24. Boston was up 6-0 by the end of the 1st, 7-0 end of 2nd then potted 4 more in the 3rd, went on to play 1st place Montreal the next night & played it to a 1-1 tie. Toronto & with Simmons again in net the next night went on to Shutout Chicago the following night however that 11-o Shellacking prompted Imlach to go nuts on the trade front unloading a lot of decent players in Bob Nevin, Dick Duff & Rod Seiling, Arnie Brown & Bill Collins in exchange for Andy Bathgate & Don McKenney, and though they did go on to win the Stanley Cup that year gave up a lot for basically Andy Bathgate.

.... and more awesome (love the pictures of Sid & Tommy in their team jackets) there RGO!

the dog, Berlin, Laycoe, original perspective of the Boston kid, Ramsey on Kharlamov and rookie Shanny each are incredible!

I've seen those last two of the Sharks and Caps, but I'me a loooooooong time devoted fan of those franchises. (now if just one of them would hoist the cup in my lifetime...)

^^^ More awesome shots RGO, love your comments & thanks for identifying some obscure players.... That series of shots of the fan in NY going nuts is pretty raw, the anger/heat almost palpable.... and the Shanahan- Daneyko photo.... highly amusing. Particularly the look on Ken Daneyko's face & the Who Framed Roger Rabbit pop right out bulging eyeballs.

.... oh ya.... and Daredevil Robert "Evel" Knieval.... quite the athlete actually, ski jumping, pole vaulter and ya, decent rough n' ready hockey player, stint in the notoriously tough & violent EHL as mentioned above..... formed the semi-pro Butte MT Bombers in 59/60 & convinced the Czech National Team to come to Butte & play the Bombers in a warmup exhibition match prior to the 1960 Olympics.... well, Knieval got ejected early in the 3rd period & strangely, left the building.... and... at the end of the game the receipts from ticket sales was missing & the Czech's who had been promised their expenses would be covered up the creek without a paddle.... the United States Olympic Committee stepping in & graciously paying their bill..... The money from the game however never recovered to the best of my knowledge.... no one knows.... odd that..... "coincidences"..... Evel's brainchild.... gets ejected.... doesnt stick around to cheer on his teammates after being ejected from the game.... had access to the box office.... :naughty: ....... hmmm.
