I just turned the game on. The first player I saw touching the puck was Danielson. He dangled 2 people (with 3 dangles) to set up a goal with that touch

I can usually respect when a team down 3 goals keeps playing hard up to the last second, but in this case I think Rockford was just salty.

3rd win in a row! Poor piglets didn't stand a chance and got turned in to bacon.

Danielson - best player in this game, even when count both teams. Could have easily have 4 point night and i only saw half of this game. Difference maker, the future is bright.

Lombardi - fast but never in a rush. I like his toolbox, hope he keeps up the good work.

Doucet - nice hands, could grow to a good player for the Griffins.

Shine - endless energy, kinda funny how this guy was a 4th liner, GR's Glendening but grew to a top-6 player whos on a pace of 66 points. Believe in development!

Becher - still getting back to a shape, might take a while.

Only watched first and Cossa was the biggest reason they were still in the game later

I wish Elmer would start scoring. I still am a believer. Maybe he could use different linemates. Most reviews of his play have been positive

Next season he'll be lining up for Frolunda. I like that we took a chance on the kid but I just dont see him being able to keep up to NHL game speed.

cossa should be the backup next year. if his season continues like this he belongs in the nhl, not the ahl
Wallstendt, not doing good and Askarov still in AHL, but have already some NHL games. Knight already played 7 games for Florida. I know it's much easier be Florida goaltender than Red Wings, but Seems like GR gives him plenty work

Cossa needs to finish out the year as the AHL starter, but I think NHL backup is his spot next year. The Talbot deal is a solid buffer. This year though I want him to prove he can handle the extra workload and show he can be consistent over the course of an entire season. He had a great 2nd half last year but needs to pull that through a whole "starter" season.

I'm curious to see if they resign Lyon as a 2B option in case Cossa looks shaky next season at the NHL level.

Great to see Danielson starting to heat up and Lombardi continuing his strong start.

Bellingham, WA
if he carries this play through December it would have to be tempting to see what the market for Lyon/Talbot is.

The Wings like to share germs like kindergartners at a pizza party, one of them will get sick or injured before the season ends. Hopefully Stevie calls up Cossa instead of Husso, I think we've all seen enough of him. He just needs a handful of games so Stevie can decide whether or not he needs to re-sign Lyon. One year of overlap with Talbot is ideal.
