Lombardi with a real nice assist on Rychlovsky's first goal.

I'm kind of keeping an eye on the game in the background but Lombardi really seems to be standing out

Edit: And after praising Lombardi, there was a play in the defensive zone with some really bad coverage that I didn't like. It turned out to be him

Danielson with a really nice shorthanded point after dangling a bit. Unsure if it bounced off of Doucet or a defender for it to ultimately go in.

Wtfff g.r is playing now?????? Great was gonna bet on them tonight watch them win course lmao

Whys it on so early?????

Iowa’s annual School Day Game
What does that have to do with an ahl game ??

Pretty crazy after the freak out on here a few years back... Cossa looks like the far better future prospect than Wallstedt
I'm not afraid to admit I wanted wallstedt (doesn't mean I thought cossa sucked) well it looks like we did the better pick thus far although it's wayt too soon to write him off

Also wanted peterka to get seider a german buddy on the team and he's looking like a much better pick than wallinder atm ... time will tell with all these guys

Lol k didnt know it so local kids could attend an ahl game. Not American and didnt see a holiday so found it weird. Thx
Ok, sorry. I was kind of confused where the question came from.

Yeah, there were constant cutaways of the crowd that were large groups of entire classes of schoolkids. Trying to appeal to the younger audience and grow their fan base.

Nice win today, Husso was in net. Cossa will get those troublesome Ice Hogs tomorrow.

The Griffs will be a wagon once they get Mazur and Wallinder back.

It’s a win with five goals for. Yes it will be nice to see Wallinder and Mazur in the lineup

I know it’s still early, blah blah blah but Wallstedt is rocking a .869 save percentage in 7 games this year.

Nice to see the kids entrusted with the lead lol

Nothing exciting for our prospects tonight, except Tuomisto (assist, +2), and Cossa 27/29.

It is a little weird, because they are usually(probably always!!) held during class hours. Kind of reminds me of late 80 movie day in inner city detroit. Show a block buster in the auditorium, then count students, and finally report results for continued government funding

What kind of a prospect is Seger? I like his size
NHL Free Agency: Top 10 NCAA UFAs to watch

Gabriel Seger, LW, 24 (Cornell, ECAC)

The big draw for Seger is his 6-foot-4, 209-pound frame. The Swedish forward has had a pair of good seasons with Cornell, putting up a career-best 12 goals and 35 points this year. Statistically, there’s a lot to like. But from an all-around standpoint, Seger benefited from sticking around as a senior. He’s very smart with the puck, plays a physical game and is a tremendous playmaker. He’s on the older side of the spectrum, but, other than subpar skating, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s challenging for a bottom-six NHL spot in a couple of years.

Thanks. It sounds like he could be more than a career AHL player
If he carves out a 4th line career he'd have beaten all the odds. He's going to be 25 and is playing his first pro season. Those guys just dont make the NHL.
