B - They got useful players without giving up a lot. At the very least it gets guys out of spots they shouldn't be playing in and strengthens the 4th line, gives Lav options. Both guys can skate too, which is nice.
doesn't get Lindgren or Trouba out of the top 4, so its a fail.

Unless they were going to go for Buch, I think anything else was a mistake so I am glad they stayed firm and added at the edges. They are vying for the Presidents Trophy. I don’t think Tyler Toffoli to the Jets stands in the way of the Cup run

Yeah I'd say B...didn't give up a lot of assets, filled some holes and added depth, but the biggest issues with the team went unaddressed. However, I don't know that the trade deadline is the best time to try to fix those issues. It tends to be when prices are the highest and the odds of fixing all your problems are low. With what was out there, this is fine. The success or failure of the team will rely on it's major players to get it done and if they don't there will probably be a reshuffling in the offseason.

Lindgren and Trouba were never going to be dealt with in season, teams aren't going to upend things that much going into the home stretch

Added the key depth to replace Chytil and Wheeler. Now they need their top guys, mainly Mika, to step up and carry the team with everyone being better slotted into roles.

Solid B. 1 great trade, 1 good trade, one bad trade.

Roslovic deal was fantastic value and am really happy

Wennberg deal was fair value. Still satisfied.

Rewedal deal was trash. Drury got bent over.

But we addressed our top 2 needs overall. Which is important.

Still cant stand Drury. Haha

I give Drury a B+ for the deadline

Instantly became a B after not trading a first, big prospects or Kakko.

He finds two forwards and a depth D that are upgrades and deepens roster. Adds speed/skating and versatility.

But even spending big for a big name add doesn't guarantee anything. Vatrano and Patches wouldve been mistakes.

Everyone else available there was a good reason he couldnt get them. The plus is the players and the overall grade is the restraint.

I still think this team is good enough to get to the Conf Final with things breaking the right way and thats about it.

No big names helps the frail mentality of this core which I think is also a plus.

This is such a weird take. Drury got bent over by giving away a 4th round pick like 4 years from now? It's literally like a 7th rounder this year. It has almost zero value.

With Trouba out for a while, I think we could see a significant improvement in the D. I am excited to see what Schneider can do in an increased role.

Wenn will feel good, but not add much, tho we have to be grateful if he allows us any depth at all. Howev, end of the day he is waste of a 2nd

The others might be ok less for depth but more to actually rest up our regulars.

I like the idea of keeping out stuff, but on the other hand like all of our enemies made substantial upgrades especially Hurricanes and Panthers

I feel like this has been status quo for Drury the past few trade deadlines. Mostly pretty conservative. And I like it. This team isn’t one good piece away from being an instant contender.

Kane is the lone exception but he came so cheap it was too good to pass up.

Would have voted D if it was available. No stupid trades but horribly misread the market and did not identify that the defense was the biggest problem. Don’t think the assets that were traded were traded effectively. Think the ceiling is about the same as it was at the start of the season
