It’s so frustrating. It’s the same guys. Game in, and game out. There is no accountability whatsoever with this certain group.

If we can see it, how do they not see it or do anything about it?

Mika, Miller, Trouba, and Lindgren all need to be shot to the sun. If we don’t have that current technology can we please limit their minutes and matchups for F sake??

I can’t even get into Igor and what his death contract is gonna do to this team for the next 7-8 years.

I like how you went from literally murdering them to "ok, fine, I'll settle for them playing a bit less."

Signing Igor to his demands is worse because we also have a crotch vice in Mika for another 5 seasons.

I can't believe we had one great defensive pair, and a net positive second pair to start the year, and this is what we've decided to ride with .

Winnipeg beat us in two key areas:

1. Their first pass absolutely killed us. How refreshing it is to see a team with defenseman that can make a good first pass and beat a forecheck
2. They didn't have Mika Zibanejad on their team. This man single handedly cost us this game.

Also, f*** paying Igor what he wants. I've shouted it from every single rooftop, elite goaltending means shit against the upper echelon of the NHL. You can find someone that gives you 90% of what Igor gives you for half the asking price.

Zibanejad is one of my favorite Rangers ever so I find this particularly depressing but good lord. Its worse than when Brad Richards fell off a cliff in 2013 and turned into a boat anchor in a single offseason.

Send letters to Mika, Trouba, Lindgren and Miller asking them to be my pallbearers. Send another to Igor once we give him some abominable contract.

I really just can’t believe how bad Mika is. I am not one for hyperbole but the dude was fanning on shots, whiffing on passes, and getting stripped left and right. He was so, so bad.

I’m done complaining about the defense. It’s pointless to even talk about at this point.

This team blew their chance last playoffs. Ironically with the turning point being Zibanejad’s brain dead turnover at the offensive blue line in OT of game 4. Could’ve gone up 3-1 in that series. Now Zibanejad is even worse.

I look at the Panthers and I see a group that made it to the final and lost and then came back the next season with a vengeance and a mission. Tons of alphas in that room. Our team comes back sniffing their own farts after not even getting as deep. Our core leadership group is full of passive beta boys. Kreider (who I love) didn’t want to be captain? Zibanejad seems to have negative fire burning inside. Panarin is great but quite aloof. Trouba is one of the worst players on the team. Miller has been regressing ever since his second year. Lindgren sucks. Zibanejad is literally actively hurting the team. He’s dog shit all over the ice. No offense, turnovers galore, terrible D. And nothing to be done about it. He got his bag. Took his foot off the gas and is older. This is what he is now. Five more years of this.


Oh and can someone please explain to me why Igor is worth THREE TO FOUR million more w season than Hellebyuck? Hellebyuck has been better for longer, he has two Vezinas, longer track record. Because Igor was good in two playoff runs where he lost in the ECF without his team paying him an albatross amount? Hellebyuck is better than Igor now and has been previously and very well may be going forward. Igor isn’t good, one of the best in the league. But there’s not 3-4m separation between him and the other elites.

The day he won the Norris was the day he stopped training in the offseason. Hopefully he doesn’t fall off a cliff like Stepan did.

Nobody wants to hear it, but he looks like he plateau'd as soon as he won that Norris & signed his new deal.

Another guy with just awful body language. Half this team looks truly miserable when they're playing hockey.
