If I'm Drury I'm trying to make a hockey trade and pawn off Miller before committing to him long term, and before other GM's realize he's bad. Hope another GM is enamored with his tool box - size, skating, athleticism, etc - and they're willing to pay a premium.

Another guy with just awful body language. Half this team looks truly miserable when they're playing hockey.

Feels like trouba, Fox, lindgren, and miller are all trending in the wrong direction. Gee, it's almost as if they're not being coached well. They need a change behind the bench honestly. Martin had them playing well.

Well we're back to the Igor of last December-January. They had some bad turnovers. For someone who claims to be the best player on the team and wants to be played egregiously more than any other goalie he's allowed to make saves on some of them. The Connor one was particularly terrible.

Most overrated goalie in the league. He makes spectacular saves and plays spectacular games but he also is extremely poor when he's not amazing. A net positive but not nearly deserving of the hype he's gotten last playoff and the contract he's asking for.

If we traded Brady Skjei I'm sure we could trade K'Andre. Circumstances actually have some similarities.

Yah this was evident in the playoffs last year too. The Rangers defensemen aren’t great as a whole, but the forwards cheat all of the time and put the D in a bad spot.

There were some positive aspects for sure, and it was a better game than the last few we've played, but it's the same culprits with the same issues over and over again.
Short-term its a coach problem to get them to sort things out, stop rewarding mediocrity, and actually instill a commitment to playing a recognizable D-scheme.
Long-term I think it's probably time Drury recognizes that this version has gone as far as it can go (and 2 x ECFs aren't bad) and starting looking at long-term re-tooling, eve if that means giving up some nice(r) pieces in order to field a team that is different - although I can't really see that starting to happen until after the season is over

In their defense and something to consider: Mika is actively injuring Ranger fans with his level of play, and making us resent things like DJing, carrots, and long hair.

Mika is the real culprit.
