He's currently on pace for 19 goals over 82 games, not bad considering age and TOI (~14min/game).

Avs had very little energy and the back to back definitely affected them. EDM did not get even close to the Avs' best tonight but hey, they took advantage of it and blew them out of the water.

Draisaitl was again absolutely awful. Outside of the end of the game when he walked the defender and drew a penalty he didn't do much else. Missed two wide open nets from McDavid serving it to him on a silver platter on the PP and he had multiple giveaways again where when he gets heavily pressured he panics and just blindly throws it away and doesn't make the simple play. Hopefully he actually shows up in the playoffs because McDavid can't do it all by himself and they need him.


Who wouldn't? Vegas even though they haven't been very good since the all star break at all are built for playoff hockey. The Kings will go only as far as their 1-3-1 will carry them.

People will hate on you for hating on Draisaitl but I saw him play a poor game as well. He needs to start locking it in like we know he can

Hell of a game from the boys after an absolutely atrocious game against Dallas. Next season we need to get someone to deal with d-bags like Manson and Trenin. I said in the GDT that hopefully Connor would solve Georgiev and he did with 2 goals and setting Drai up with 2 shots that he scores more often than not. Ekholm nailed Rantanen not once, but twice. I'm guessing that he might be out for the rest of the regular season or maybe longer. That'd be a huge loss for the Avs. They will undoubtedly try to goon it up against us in our last game against them.

Under Teams/Season stats go to Filters and pick the dates: Nov 12, 2023 to today. Since that point teh Oilers have the top xGF% in the league at 56.82% and the second best actual GF% at 58.24% 5 vs 5. They are way ahead of everyone in HDCF%.

Couple huge goals by Kane. Especially the 4-2 one. Hopefully gets him going a bit. Weird goals though. Hopefully not one offs. For how “down” his season seems to be, it’s impressive he has 23g with little PP time.

Ekholm continues to be a beast on both sides of the ice. Guy is a beauty.

For how much of a lightning rod Skinner seems to be, does seem like a trend where 1st periods are kind of shaky, and then hes solid as the game goes on.

When we load up McDrai, bit worried about the second line. Nuge isn’t really bringing it.

Nuge makes 5.1 per year and can play 1rst line to third line, centre, wing, PK, PP, without whining and I think he makes the least $$ per point in the top 6 other then Hyman. He is generally quite reliable defensively and thats why coaches (all coaches) put him in situations and positions that require that type of play. We should be happy to have him.

Remember three weeks ago when Colorado barely squeaked out a win against us in OT and this board had a collective meltdown? I remember. Turns out we can hang with them after all. What a dominant win.

We can certainly hang with them when theyre playing a back to back when they got into town at 2am, playing without Rantanen and Landeskog.

I might be too critical but I wasnt That impressed today, they played a good game dont get me wrong but Colorado looked sluggish, and Oilers got some bounces. Georgiev was horrible.

Love that Kane got a couple of goals, I noticed how hyped up Perry was when he did, from their interactions I kind of got the feeling that Perry might have taken him under his wings a little bit.
