Well... that was that.
Better team won! :cry:

No matter what anyone says.. even these tournaments should matter if you want to say hockey is important, I mean yes.. it's not best on best, but EVERY team has their B-C team, so it still tells something about something.

And all in all.. this pressure and expectations on these young players we have seen... not only this year but for a few years now is getting out of hand. Seeing Laine sitting on the ice was heartbraking. :shakehead

I turned it off after the medals and he presented the cup - did he actually stay out and shake everyone's hands? I'm not trying to be political here - they (his security) kind of whisked him in and out when he gave the speech so I'm surprised he'd stay out for ~30 handshakes.
 
Thank you Canada for an awesome final performance and you definitely we're the better team. You managed to strip Finns from their weapons 100% and deserved to win. Finland thank you for all the succesful and delightful moments and we all can say that we're having a bright future ahead of us.

So ya'll Canadian fans. Thank you for the match and GL for the World Cup.
