I know international rules are tough but considering it's the Gold Medal game that's pretty soft.

Ideally the refereeing line should not change for playoff games. In that light it was absolutely the right call.

The goalie put his glove down on the puck and Scheifele hit his glove almost simultaneously. He was going for the free puck just a fraction of a second earlier.

Unfortunately Talbot is playing 10x better than in the quarters

We really haven't been able to test him, 2-3 great saves but those are also pretty much the only shots we have.

Anyone who watches this game and thinks Laine should still go #1 is delusional. Clear that he can't keep up with the higher intensity and strength of competition. Easily handled by the canadian defenders, I've never seen a guy so big get rubbed out on the boards so easily.

Try watching the play at full speed bud. He was swinging at the puck and almost hit at the same time. Slow they play down enough and you can make it 10 minutes before he hit him.

Hall's everything is under rated, that's what happens when your team is awful.

He never has anyone to bury his passes, so no on ever sees them on the highlights.
