So it's our fault Russia didn't have any superstars in this tourny ?
IMO, Russia had superstars. Buchnevich, Barbashev. All great players.
So it's our fault Russia didn't have any superstars in this tourny ?
Canada really did look gassed out there tonight. Not nearly the smooth team they were all tournament.
TSN is so much better at hockey broadcasts versus Rogers it's downright ridiculous.
That was a fantastic game to watch.

To anyone saying Canada wasn't great,
"Canada never trailed during this tournament."
Says it all. Russia was awesome but the best team won.
Pointing at god for all of their blessingsJust curious, why players always point with a finger at something, at every winning team photos?
yup, but canada also has tons of players in the nhl at the moment, match them up and then russia still gets trounced. So it's our fault Russia didn't have any superstars in this tourny ?
Lol I think he is trying to say that it would be surprising or odd looking back had Canada not won Gold.So it's our fault Russia didn't have any superstars in this tourny ?
Looking back at this game in a few years, a Canadian team that featured McDavid and a ton of tournament leading scorers (Petan, Domi, Reinhart) better have beaten a Russian team without any superstars (Tarasenko/Kuznetsov, Yakupov/Nichushkin, etc).
I still think Team Canada didn't look great and goaltending was weak as always. But gold is gold.

This needs to be repeated.
Because it truly says a lot.
Canada won and now I can relax!
