Team lacks game breaking talent up front. EP40 frustrating to watch. Significant loss of foot speed is evident.

Garland also amid his worst stretch of the season, and maybe last season too.
 
At this point you have to pull Soucy off the market and staple him to DPetey for the remainder of the year for DPeteys development.

Absolute no brainer. Don’t trade his partner.

Soucy is helping him develop and he is helping Soucy find his game. Win Win.

Soucy seems very competent and pretty damn good on the right side, that would be a nice change.

But honestly, we need to trade him eventually here because willander is taking that spot

Yep. That was a bit premature move by management.

Based off the past 2-3 games, Forbort is the one that comes out. Keeps falling down and turning it over.

One thing is obvious watching this Canucks team......the sore lack of skill on the wing. They have a whole bunch of guys who work their guts out, but my gawd they treat the puck like a hand grenade that times.

Fixing the blueline was step #1.......but finding a lot more skill and shooters on the wing has got to be a high priority.

Chemistry is hard to find sometimes. They obviously have it. Don’t change anything. They are a great 3rd pairing.

Hughes - Hronek
MP29 - Myers
DPetey - Soucy

Looks very stable and solid

Ehh, I disagree. We have no idea how Willander will be transitioning up to the NHL level. I'd rather have Soucy to rotate in between him and even D Petey if they struggle.

Without Hughes there isn't enough team skill. Petterson is in a funk. Chytil is about it. Even if Petterson was good it's only 2 skill players with Hughes out, the rest are effort players.

Management are going to need to address this at point in the offseason and try to add another creative forward.
