Yesterday was the best game Demko has played since his first injury. It's a statement he still has it. You gotta ride with him at least for another game or two, depending how it goes.
I think it's very unlikely that there's anything to be gained by "riding" him. Slowly build from about 35% of the starts to perhaps 55% by the last ten games, if all goes well.

Yah, I'm a Garland fan but he really flubs a ton of chances. He's a motor but just doesn't have the finish.

Also, Debrusk-EP-Sherwood had a really good stretch there, and then Tocc just breaks that line up. Should really try it again. (Hogz-EP-Karlsson also had 2 very good games and Tocc just broke that up too. I don't really understand Tocc's thinking sometimes.)

I disagree. Horses want to run. He's not, to the best of our knowledge, dealing with an acute injury. He's trying to make his body work around the remnants of and old one, and a lot of that is mental.

When he gets positive feedback from his contributions (in the form of objective success) it's important to let him follow that positive feedback train.

It's not about over playing him, but playing him as a backup right now would be asinine and I can guarantee you they won't do it unless he has two or three stinkers in a row.

I hope Hughes injury isn't like past canucks injuries where it starts out missing a game, then day to day, month to month, his entire head is disconnected from his body and all his blood needs to be removed and replaced.

I don't want to think that, but I just can't help myself.

My annual live game. Last year I missed the 10-1 game but was there for the 3-4 OTL. They better win this year!

Also helps that Costco sell Sharks ticket now. Goal line row 9 lower bowl for $55. Can't beat that value :D:D
I haven't been to a Canucks game since my Thank You Frankie Blueberries For Finally Doing The Obvious f***ing Thing game against L.A. December 6th, 2021.

The way the world has gone absolutely bonkers since then where everything is rapidly accelerating into unaffordable territory makes me really wonder when will be my next.

I hope they show up for ya.

Well, we just disagree about what's "asinine."

I also don't get sending Karlsson down for Aman. Yes, Aman has been ripping it up in Abbotsford and likely deserved a recall at some point - but Karlsson is in the middle of his best stretch of NHL hockey and is playing really effectively. Head scratcher.
Agreed. I like the lineup but don't understand why Karlsson was sent down - he's played really well. Maybe Tocchet wants more grit?
