If we don't see an absolutely pissed off Canucks team this morning we have no real hope of going deep in the playoffs. The character isn't there. If they do play like they are embarrassed after their worst game of the season then we're all good. I do though believe that the character is there.
Hopefully hoglander plays the same way he does when hes on the 4th line

Re: Mikheyev he's got 22 5v5 pts 4 of his 2nd assists are on Pettersson goals and half his points dont even involve Pettersson directly. He's a plus defensive player who is struggling with the long grind of the season and battling back from ACL surgery.
Does he need a rest or maybe even a kick in the ass yes sure but he's still above the bar of being a poor top6 player if you take into account his role on the whole. Good to see Tocchet shuffle things up. Hopefully he pisses everybody off for 4-6 weeks gets some individuals back to what they do best and then re unite for a stretch run and playoffs
Mikhayev has been better than he's getting credit for he's just in a slump

It is actually. prior to this season acquiring Lindholm and with Kuz producing with Pettersson i thought he would be ideal there. Obviously the cap made that next to impossible
