Last time Carson Soucy missed a hockey game it was because he cross-checked Connor McDavid.

Play dumb game win stupid prize.

And I'm not talking about Soucy.
Soucy ownz you.gif

it's hilarious watching media make the claim "garland was holding mcdavid and the league needs to protect its star players" as if it's some 6'8 300 pound behemoth pinning mcdavid to the ice

mask off. at best it's a holding penalty on garland when they both get up and he bear hugs him. but this isn't some dangerous play lmao.

Three game rest/watch from another vantage point, for the heavily played myers is really pretty okay, I'll be surprised if he's not a bit better afterwards.

Not like it really hurts the teams chances of winning, plenty of dmans can fill in those minutes for a few games.

So last game the Canucks got a team that just played 8 games in 16 days and traveled over 9000 miles. It took Garland wrestling down McDavid to insure a one goal win. A very tired team.

Now they get a scheduled win. Buffalo just got smoked by Seattle and the Canucks must win because teams are catching up.

If Greenway was playing the Canucks would have problems, they have some big forwards over there.

Myers isn't playing so there are several posters that will be thrilled he's out. But ....

Vancouver has everything in their favor, they should easily win.

Winning this game is a meh, not really needing alot of great play. A goalie game maybe

But it's the Canucks in 2025 so ????

Canucks will win. YOU KNOW THEY WILL.

jokes aside, I'm going to really watch to see why buffalo fans thing Dahlin is on par with or superior to Hughes.

Do they actually think that? I doubt majority of their educated fan base shares that opinion.

Dahlin is indeed a fantastic player, though.

There was a poll in the polls forum about all 3 Hughes brothers going 1st overall in a redraft of their year and there was a surprising amount of Sabres fans, and others, chiming saying Quinn wasn't a lock.

Expansion cousins, Buffalo and Vancouver, aren't in a good place right now. Misery seems to love company.

The Sabres will put a couple of good games together, and then absolutely stink the joint out like they did in Seattle last night.

The Canucks are smoked by the Jets and Kings; and then play a fairly complete game against Edmonton.

Who know what'll happen tomorrow night at Rogers Arena? Maybe both teams still stink, and it'll be a 'loosey goosey' barn-burner.
