Hughes has become a target. We have zero push back. Should of kept gritty guys like Zadorov and Cole and we could use a bruising 4th liner even though everyone always complains about a player like that being trash... Instead we get guys like Di Guiseppe doing what exactly?

They thought that because they got within a game of going to the conf final. Some success warranted that thinking. The Canucks won’t have the same success this year, and Domino’s will fall
 
Is Brannstrom not playing? That has been a continuing mistake in the past and continues to be.

Basically instead of Hronek/Hughes at least giving the offence some juice 1/3 of the game, now it's just Hughes trying to babysit Myers most of the time.
 
I can’t believe it’s 2-0 and we have 7 shots against a 4-5th stringer, experience Canucks hockey.
 
Look...I can accept losing but Carolina is probably playing at 50% and doesnt seem to give a damn yet we are getting shutout against an awful goaltender.
 
LOL Soucy did it again and bit up by the blueline in his own zone. Carolina immediately funneled the puck to the net front. Lucky Quinn took his man.

This defence isn't so good this season that the forward can read the defenceman leaving their spot.

It baffles me why they don't go with 7 D.

Play branstorm if you need to create offense. Play the slugs if you have a lead or get into penalty trouble.


As a bonus you have 11 forwards dressed creating competition for ice time.

Brannstrom should at least be in on his offhand and playing instead of Juulsen
 
Tocchet as an assistant coach with Boudreau would have been a good mix. Tocchet hasn’t had any kind of success as a head coach and plays a regressive offensive system that plays against the teams strengths.

Let’s not make a mistake like trading Pete. Let’s find a Montgomery or Carbery, someone that can bring a balance between offense and defense.
