I'm taking all the risk here. I still have to watch him practice and take game day skates.
But it's our Canucks so they will do well enough to give some false hope then we will hear of a trade for a guy giving up one of our top 2 prospects......is my fear.
I think you mean at least one hattrick against the Canucks.
Though given how bad our defense has been I think he'd fall asleep out of boredom and stop at one hattrick instead of pushing for 7.

Yeah sorry I just keep seeing this everywhere, even from local media. And I just don’t think Tocchet even views Brannstrom and Juulsen as swappable pieces. Or it’s Foote, I dunno. But someone won’t play defensemen off their natural side short of being forced to by injury.

with the report of tocchet splitting miller ep a few weeks ago on the pps, everything they do now i suspect of them trying to make a point
speculating but maybe hughes was trying to make a point / set a standard

Caps are my 'shock team' so far this NHL season. Just didn't see this explosion even remotely happening.
And they've got Ryan Leonard and Cole Hutson (younger brother of the Habs Lane) in the pipeline. Just goes to show, you can turn things around pretty quick with the right moves and some shrewd drafting.
