Unfortunately you have a coach that prioritizes getting to the net and tipping pucks rather then working on taking a good shot from out front.

Being told to go to the net doesn't prevent a player from being a good finisher.

I think at the end of the day…. If we wanna see a cup and not just winning a round here or winning around there , you can’t even be mad anymore. This team can’t beat the rangers , panthers , Winnipeg , etc etc etc in a 7 game series. Never. Not a chance.


So really … who cares? Like why really get mad ? We are not a top 5 team in the league. Meh, another year of maybe making the playoffs and maybe missing. Same same.

Not without a injured Demko, Boeser, or Miller.

The Canucks taken the Oilers to game 7 missing Demmer the entire series, and Boes missed game 7. Many still think the Oil are this year's cup favorites.

A healthy roster and a couple additions, you never know what could happen in the playoffs.

When your coach implements that as a system you are not looking to get in a good shooting position and taking a good shot, you are prioritizing going to the net and looking for a tip. Thats all I said.

Our entire system is based on high percentage shots and we’re the highest % shooting team in the NHL since Tocchet arrived.
