If nothing else with Blueger-Sherwood playing well as a third line, I feel like it wouldn’t be that bad to play Sprong on the PP and sparingly at ES. The fourth doesn’t have to get consistent ice time
Exactly. It’s the role tailor made for him. I get they won’t use him in the playoffs if that’s his role and there’s an attempt at longer term improvements, but he actually was good the last game so idk. Vectors def right on that one.

And im a sprong doubter through and through

It’s early but this game screamed breakout offensive game to me.

And a good challenge for VAN to not Calgary this one.

I think as the team gains chemistry and gets more rest his limitations can be better hidden as well. I guess with Chicago though they might not need the offense

Is this the moment Garland meshes with the top 6 and PP1 unit? I feel like he would bring some consistency to our somewhat inconsistent star forwards. I like his hustle and skating on the PP1 which is usually very static.
