GM AslanRH was in the mood to deal and continues to stock up on draft picks over the next few drafts. Thinks there may be plenty of upside in Ranta now that he is away from the team that plays like adrenaline fueled cheetahs.
With 1 retention slot remaining, GM AslanRH is rumored to have told Tyson Barrie not to throw away his moving boxes.

Continue to listen to offers on Pierre-Luc Dubois, Mark Scheifele and Conor Hellebuyck. Have had some good conversations on all three but nothing convincing enough to pull the trigger on yet.
JT Miller remains available for anyone looking to add a PPG forward but I’m not looking to dump him. Also looking for a top 4, defensive defenseman, preferably a RH’ed shot.

Looking to move Taylor Hall to a contender that needs middle six help, willing to retain up to $2 million of his salary if I like the package enough. Prefer picks and prospects in the return.
Derek Forbort is available for teams looking for a good penalty killer that can anchor a bottom pair.
Tomas Nosek’s UFA rights could be moved for a 5th or a 6th round pick. Great face off guy, kills penalties and is one of the better 4th line centers in the league.
Willing to listen on Brad Marchand. Return would have to be centered around a youngish left shot Top 4 D that is more of a shutdown guy and I would like a 1st round pick back.
I will be tough to get a hold of today, but will be checking my phone as much as possible throughout the day.

The price is high for a Vezina caliber goaltender, in his prime and on a sweetheart contract. (think 1.5 times the 2013 Schneider trade)
Price is 3 significant pieces (without salary dumps) for a Norris trophy caliber defenseman with term who must go to a contender.
Forsberg too would be available to a contender for 2 significant pieces.
