We will continue to work to fill out our roster, though we may need need to do some maneuvering with the cap as adding Brayden has taken up most of the Landeskog space. We will be more active in discussions this afternoon once we see where we are with the cap.

Around for trade talks for atleast few hours. Some talks ongoing already. Might be open to trading Timo Meier or Jesper Bratt (RFA rights) in a deal for a center or cheaper top-6 winger +.

Columbus will have everything on the market. Will look at every offer. 3ov included.

Will lean towards futures deals, but would be op minded on taking the right veteran as well.

:caps are trading Nic Dowd to the :devils in exchange for Samu Salminen and Colorado's 2024 5th round pick.

GM AslanRH was only available for a brief comment (he actually has to go to work) but was thankful for Dowd's efforts on behalf of the Capitals.
The big Finnish forward first caught the eyes of the Washington scouting department at the U18 in 20-21 and they continued to like his progress in his first season at UConn.

The main person who will have an issue with waiving the protection for the trade is Simon Nemec

Still kicking tires on a top 6 winger (LW or RW as Nuke can slot either way). Still have 2024 and 2025 1sts, plus some prospects. Also willing to move Toews or Girard in a hockey deal. Also needing a 3C, 3LW and bottom pairing D-man. Cap is tight, so may need to work some magic
