I can’t believe they’re doing this again! I was so ready to give up, but they’re again impressing with their resilience
My niece (born 1/21/25) has not witnessed and Isles loss. The tank crowd can blame her lol
His name is Peleches-novichThe teams breakout is so much improved with Deangelo and the other guy who’s name escapes me attm
Id def look to trade Pulock as a hockey trade for some offense
I think it would be counterproductive to overplay Sorokin; going to have to give him one of the B2B off, even if that means playing SkarekAny word on Varly? Guessing Sorokin plays both ends of the B2B coming up?
I don't disagree, but given Roy has already played his goalie in b2b this year, and we have the break coming up. I would not be surprised if Sorokin plays at least one of the b2b's. We have another one next weekend too, right before the break. I don't want to see Skarek but we may see him in at least one of the b2bs. .I think it would be counterproductive to overplay Sorokin; going to have to give him one of the B2B off, even if that means playing Skarek
Dobson directly cost the team about 6-8 points early in the season with his boneheaded defense. Looking at the standings, that puts the isles already in the WC.Team leading 28 minutes for Tony D tonight, anyone miss Dobson?
Somewhere in the latter part of the second period I was thinking this exactly. The whole team, seems like it's the Trotz era Islanders.
CBJ and Detroit with wins in OT. So not as far up as it initially looked.Sens and Lightning win
Habs and Bruins lose
Close this game out and we climb the ladder more
At least. He is dreadful and puts a real strain on his partner. DeAngelo may not be a rock back there but at least he can retrieve pucks and start a breakout. His history says he should be a 50 point guy. If the PP/Barzal issue got addressed who knows. 1.5 - 2mil per for DeAngelo vs 7plus for Dobson. So, no, Dobson somehow brings offense, but he’s a waif defensively.
Could/should he be traded? Sure, he’s not THAT special. His defense is crap.
Could/should he be resigned? Luckily, his gaffes and injuries derailed his season and his price tag. Anything over $6.5M p/yr is going to be an awful deal for the team.
