Nope. League min for next yr is 525k (yes, i'm a nitpick )

Which is a relief for Harju, as if this deal went thru he's likely firing his agent... THREE YEARS at league min? :shakehead

i actually mistyped its 2 years. I had offered a bit more, but this is the deal that was accepted. So I'm not complaining

I think we should make this guy the Leafs GM next game:
burke has to work his magic
leaf players not on roster, were traded at dead line or off season, there value was high
some players were ufa signings, others through the trade
if the leafs want to content than they need playoff warriors
players with hard work ethic, may rub off, and wake up others.

FORWARDS
Nazem Kadri ($1.720m) / Eric Staal ($8.250m) / Phil Kessel ($5.400m)
Matt Moulson ($2.650m) / Jordan Staal ($4.000m) / Max Pacioretty ($0.910m)
Colby Armstrong ($3.000m) / Tyler Bozak ($2.000m) / Kris Versteeg ($3.083m)
Mike Brown ($0.737m) / Christian Hanson ($0.750m) / Colton Orr ($1.000m)

DEFENSEMEN
Dion Phaneuf ($6.500m) / Kevin Bieksa ($4.250m)
Luke Schenn ($2.975m) / Christian Ehrhoff ($4.400m)
Mike Komisarek ($4.500m) / Keith Aulie ($0.733m)
Matt Lashoff ($0.650m)

with what they had they were inconsisent, now this team can win now

The :canes have locked up a veteran as part of the mix of young guys on the team.

Erik Cole $3.5M, 4 years NTC (where he can give a list of 5 teams he will go to)

Erik Cole is a fan favorite here and we want him to be part of this team for the rest of his career. The NTC is the reason he wouldn't test the market, and we are glad to lock him up.

Dallas is looking to improve its defense. Looking for a top pairing dman and a top 4 dman. Puckmovers/more offensive players are preferred.

Our first rounder, picks, prospects, and the rights to Brad Richards are available.

A scary image indeed: Crosby has new winger in Heatley

The Pittsburgh Penguins and San Jose Sharks pulled off a blockbuster early this morning, with Pittsburgh sending C Jordan Staal and D Zybanek Michalek to the San Jose Sharks for 50 goal scorer Dany Heatley and a 2011 1st rnd pick.

This will be the first time Sidney Crosby has had a big time scorer on his wing consistently, as he is likely to play alongside Heatley and Chris Kunitz

Heatley with Crosby would be interesting to see but you gave up too much in terms of value.

The lost of Michalek is important on D and you don't have the cap space to acquire another solid defenseman.
