Lets not forget the Capitals can't close the deal in the playoffs...they are prone to pulling a 'San Jose Sharks-East' and falling flat ;)

Also...Khabby?? Washington's goalie is so ancient Chris Chelios makes old jokes about him

Our strategy in Atlanta is to show episodes of Matlock on the big screen during games to distract him.

Byfuglien is a better Mike Green, our D core is one of the best in the league, and John Scott's steely glare from the pressbox will have knees quivering. :sarcasm:

Vote Atlanta!

Haha what is this? Talkin' smack?

Whatever, in all fairness I thought you guys outplayed us last year in the playoffs.

Wait. What? :sarcasm:

WE HAVE 11 VOTES SO FAR. IF I DON'T GET 1 MORE VOTE BEFORE 5:30PM ET, I WILL POST THE RESULTS AS THEY ARE RIGHT NOW. WE NEED TO GET THIS GOING.

EDIT : The good news is that I had another vote. The bad news is that one series is tied so I'll have to wait to get another vote.

Vote :blues!

Our high powered offense led by Jarome Iginla, David Backes, David Perron, Stephen Weiss and TJ Oshie will rip apart 7uon9o. Along with our deep defense which includes Erik Johnson and Robyn Regehr, and a great playoff performer in net in Jaroslav Halak, we are prepped for an upset!

LA did nothing to improve their team. We added a top 6 winger, and we were already a great team.

That is all. No need for more. Detroit > LA.

Habs are playing the chockers in the 2nd round.

Our experience and team defence will once again beat the caps! Not to mention our offence is more ready to match up againts them with the addition of Umberger, Kobasew and Grier. Our defence will shut down Ovechkin again and we'll take over the serie from there. Their defence isn't good enough to stop 3 offensive line.

Vote HABS!

HA! Good thing Carey Price hasn't won a playff game in 2 years, in real life. Not to mention our additions of Jokinen, Hemsky and Khabibulin.

In real life, I think my team beats IRs, but given my defense, I can't be too upset with the outcome I thought I had a deal worked out, and it fell through. What can yo do.

Jokinen , I could also laugh at Khabibulin. Price is twice the goalie he is.

Again, our playoff experience an team defence will pull it of again leaving the Caps scratching their heads because they have no clue how to win tight games!

You should have stopped at Hemsky... Jokinen and Khabibulin are reasons to vote for the Habs! ;)

Semin and Laich can make anybody good. Jokinen has the skill, he's been playing with washed up/nobodies. Khabby has a cup and a .917 save percentage in the playoffs. Yes sir. Not to mention Scott Hannan coming to shut down your "offence."

Both subjects of bad teams. Jokes is no Joke, and I don't expect him to be my #1 guy. He's got it easy and can play his game. And look at Khabby right before he left the Hawks. Whee-uuu!

:devils TRADING BLOCK

Looking to trade the 2nd overall in a deal based around an elite young defenseman.

Looking to trade the 7th overall for a 1st line RW (23-30 years old) on a decent contract. We are ready to add depending of the player. We could also try to move up with this pick.

PM!

He can't make himself look good in the playoffs, let alone worry about others. Oh and who pass the puck on this line? I see quick habs transition after bad turnover by Semin/Jokinen and into the net goes the puck!

vote Habs!

Khabibulin is... meh!

Jokinen is a joke... he was never able to establish himself... and bad team or not, he played with guys like Jarome Iginla!

This is a joke. He had one bad year last year. He had 14pts in 14 games the year before. 5g 9a and Jokinen had 5pts in his first ever playoff series with the Flames.

Jokes had between 70-100 points until he left Florida. I get to watch him every Flames game here in AB, and he is disgustingly treated. Not to mention the team he is playing on.

Khabby is strong. That's all that needs to be said.

Game isn't played on stats sheet in the playoffs. They are both turnover machine who cost their team playoffs games. Habs capitalize big time on turnover and you have a team full of players who make turnovers.

Just like last year, we'll beat them by being the better TEAM!

And Wings did nothing but get older from the deadline to the playoffs.

The Kings got Willie Mitchell and Matt Greene back on defense for our playoff run so to say we made no changes is ludicrous!

Making a trade so you can say you made one is dumb.

Both teams have among the best + ratings if GF/GA, and our defense is far more solid than the aging Wings blueline. We've knocked them off before and we will again.

Vote KINGS and put the Wings out to pasture where they belong.

I like your team but you should really stop there. All people will see if you continue is that you consider Jokinen and Khabibulin as core players in your team! ;)

All the players on my team but Brooks were over a 0 plus/minus. Semin only had 5 giveaways. Your points are based on media.

Caps FTW.
