I'm probably going to be busy all day. T_Cage, 12 is fine so add them up and post them. CR, you can do playoff voting. Try to stick to the schedule in the OP but you want to get 12+ votes per round.

Haha I was just playin'. You'll have a good run for sure, as long as your goaltending doesn't hurt you that bad.

Actually, I've loved Niittymaki's play this year, Niemi was soooo hot and cold. He is dominant one game, and a total sieve the next. We also really, really like Alex Stalock- he's actually pretty similar to Varlamov. It's unfortunate we couldn't grab a top 4 to replace Wallin, but I really like Braun and Demers, so I am not to upset about it.

I'll do.

As long as T_Cage has the votes posted at 3PM ET, I'll start collecting the votes for the 1st round at that moment.

San Jose may have a better (choking!) forward group, but ours is no slouch either. We have the defensive edge and the goaltending edge. Vote St. Louis!

Ah classic Bruins-Habs in the first round. And they still can't beat us to save their lives. 0-3 this year, with a great comeback last night by the habs is all you need to know.

Nashville believes they were certainly a playoff team, but barely missed. Time to prepare for the offseason

:devils UPDATE

The New Jersey Devils have the 2nd overall, the 7th overall and the 32nd overall.

Looking to trade the 2nd overall for an elite young right-handed (or who can play on the right side) defenseman(+)

Vote :rangers!!!!!!!!!!

We added a top 10 center in the game in Eric Staal and a nice defensemen in Joni Pitkanen with only losing MDZ and Anisimov. We KNOW we can UPSET the Penguins in the 1st round and make our way to the Cup Finals!! :)

Vote Capitals! We kept most of our team together and added some real depth. Plus Atlanta sucks. :D

Why to vote for Hawks over the Wings?

Hawks lineup is a little deeper and I think the Hawks D is a little better and more mobile

Crawford/Howard is a wash as both are young and Howard's playoff experience was shaky

Hawks lineup

Brouwer-Toews-Kane
Tanguay-Sharp-Hossa
Bickell-Bolland-Kopecky
Pisani-Dowell-Skille
Johnson/Hendry as extra

Keith-Seabrook
Campbell-Hjalmarsson
Sekera-Leddy
Boynton/Hendry as extra

Crawford
Turco

Red Wings lineup

Henrik Zetterberg - Pavel Datsyuk - Jamie Langenbrunner
Johan Franzen - Valtteri Filppula - Tomas Holmstrom
Jiri Hudler - Darren Helm - Todd Bertuzzi
Dan Cleary - Justin Abdelkader - Kris Draper
Ex: Drew Miller

Nicklas Lidstrom - Brian Rafalski
Niklas Kronwall - Brad Stuart
Jonathan Ericsson - Ruslan Salei
Ex: Jakub Kindl

Jimmy Howard
Chris Osgood

While we believe we have a great young team we expected our finish. We traded our core away and team chemistry takes a while to build. We'll be looking to use our 4th overall pick to select a good young prospect, we may look to move up in the draft. Using our offseason to acquire some top-tier talent to push this team forward.

We're happy with the existing core of players we have. Bobby Ryan, Patrik Berglund, Peter Mueller, Alex Steen, Ryan O'Reilly and Vlad Tarasenko up front, Mark Giordano, Roman Polak, Kevin Shattenkirk, Tim Erixon, Craig Anderson, and Braden Holtby on the back end. With some premier players added to the mix we feel we can compete quickly.

Lets not forget the Capitals can't close the deal in the playoffs...they are prone to pulling a 'San Jose Sharks-East' and falling flat ;)

Also...Khabby?? Washington's goalie is so ancient Chris Chelios makes old jokes about him

Our strategy in Atlanta is to show episodes of Matlock on the big screen during games to distract him.

Byfuglien is a better Mike Green, our D core is one of the best in the league, and John Scott's steely glare from the pressbox will have knees quivering. :sarcasm:

Vote Atlanta!

Don't listen to the Blackhawks GM, he's crazy :sarcasm:

We have Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg complimented by a strong veteran in Jamie Langenbrunner. We have Johan Franzen, Valtteri Filppula, Tomas Holmstrom, Todd Bertuzzi, Jiri Hudler, Dan Cleary, etc for secondary scoring.

On D, we have a very solid top 4, lead by one of the best D to ever play the game in Nicklas Lidstrom, along with Brian Rafalski, Niklas Kronwall, Brad Stuart, Jonathan Ericsson, and Ruslan Salei.

In goal, we have Jimmy Howard, a very impressive goaltender, and a solid veteran in Chris Osgood behind him.

Take a look at the Blackhawks line-up. It doesn't match ours. We feel we have the advantage on D, and in goal. The forwards are very close until you look at the bottom 6. We have the veterans, the leadership and the secondary scoring in bottom 6.
