They did nothing to improve their team. We added a top goaltender in Bishop along with a trio of top-4 defenseman in Muzzin, Scandella and Stone to VASTLY improve on our weakness. Throughout this, we kept our top forwards group intact and added some very solid depth in guys like Hansen, Komarov and Bozak. Despite the regular season results, the choice is easy!

:bolts

Vladislav Namestnikov - Steven Stamkos - Nikita Kucherov
Ondrej Palat - Jonathan Drouin - Patrick Sharp
Alex Killorn - Valteri Filppula - Ryan Callahan
Cederic Paquette - Brian Boyle - Brayden Point

Victor Hedman - Anton Stralman
Jason Garrison - Ryan Ellis
Braydon Coburn - Andrej Sustr

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Jonathan Bernier

Scratched: Mike Ribeiro, Slater Koekkoek, J.T. Brown

We significantly upgraded our defense and PP with the addition of Ryan Ellis, who bumps everyone else down a spot in the lineup. Stamkos is back, and reunited with Kucherov and Namestnikov to form one of the best lines in the league. Our middle six is about as good as it gets, and our fourth line has a little bit of everything. Vasilevskiy showed in last years playoffs that he is capable of being a dominant presence in net, and Bernier is a more than capable backup (with a GAA of 2.02 and a Sv% of .933 this year). Ribeiro, Koekkoek, and Brown all can be slotted into the lineup depending on match-ups at any point. Should be an easy decision.

For teams still talking trade, we are looking to move Erik Gudbranson after the expansion draft for a comparably aged/valued top 9 forward. Will consider moving Chris Tanev but would need to be young, top 6 center coming back in return.

What's your final roster? Roster thread post isn't updated and I wanna make sure I'm voting for the best team!

:habs

Radulov - Galchenyuk - Versteeg
Pacioretty - Hanzal - Zuccarello
Lehkonen - Shaw - Byron
Mitchell - Danault - Flynn

Giordano - Weber
Beaulieu - MARKOV
Del Zotto- Klein

Price
Montoya

Got a true #1 to play with Weber, acquires a top 4 LHD in Del Zotto and have Radulov Galchenyuk, Pacioretty, Zuccs, Hanzal on offense with a deep bottom 6

We have the better dynamic duo on the first line, considerably better forward depth, a better defensive core, better depth with 3 quality NHL players as healthy scratches, and much better chemistry (18 of our 23 players have been together for quite the majority of the past couple seasons, they have 5 new players since the deadline and an aging Andrei Markov anchoring the second pairing playing RD as a lefty). Vasilevskiy is not Carey Price, but he has proven that he is a big game goaltender who can steal games too.

This still applies. Sharks did nothing to improve where as we massively improved our weaknesses. Vote :stars!

Sorry for the lack of moves guys. Have been sick as a dog all week. Kind of surprised Dallas beat out my Blues, as i figured the Blues have a better forward and D core (Bishop over Allen at this point obviously though). Props to Stars GM for making the big changes needed, thats a dangerous team.

Around for off-season trade talks as well.

Duchene trade talks will continue this offseason. Looking to do some of the moves I was unable to do before the deadline during the offseason (dump veterans for young talent). Appears we'll be getting a very high draft pick so I'll also look to maybe move down from that for a lower first round pick + young assets.
